About Joanne Rubin, Ph.D.
I have been a psychologist for over 40 years, providing psychotherapy and writing, consulting, and teaching. I trained for many years in several psychotherapy models, which include psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, couples and family therapy, and, for the past 18 years, Integral theory and its applications to psychotherapy and growth work.
My additional training includes a second Master’s degree in Consciousness Studies, as well as a year-long course focused on the mystical elements of the world's major religions. I have had meditation training as well as training in energy healing.
I'm passionately interested in helping people bring together their psychological, philosophical, and spiritual sides in a way that embraces rather than contradicts logic and scientific reality.
